On April 22 we joined our friends at Abundance Food Co-Op and SunCommon NY to celebrate Earth Day in the South Wedge. During the event we were able to connect with friends, meet new people, and discover other local organizations and businesses.

The event started out with a parade from Abundance’s old location to their new location in the South Wedge. From there, a section of South Avenue was shut down for Earth Fest which featured music, children’s activities, and local vendors.

The purpose of the RocWorthy Earth Fest was to not only highlight local and environmentally-friendly vendors, but also to celebrate the beauty of our planet and to encourage ways to have a positive environmental impact.
