We’re proud to welcome Raven Reynolds to the team! Raven is an RIT grad from the New Media Design and Imaging program. Before joining the team here at TGW, she was the digital designer for Mason Digital. Her favorite projects to work on are projects with purpose. Check out her fantastic work with Fueling the Movement, for example! We sat down with Raven to answer the heavy-hitting questions. See what she had to say:
What got you interested in graphic design?
I’ve always loved art and gaming growing up. I originally thought I wanted to become a game designer but that somehow turned into graphic design and I haven’t looked back since!
Do you have any weird or unexpected talents?
I know way too much about different dog and cat breeds for no reason at all.
What tv show, book, game, or movie most impacted you as a kid?
Oh geez so many games and shows impacted me as a kid. For games it would have to be Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, Tekken, Soul Calibur and a few more. TV shows would be, Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, Supernatural and sooo many more. The storylines and styles of each show/game really influenced a lot of my work growing up. They still do today! A lot of my friends tell my my personal logo looks like it’s straight out of a FF game haha.
Is there a particular typeface that makes you swoon?
Right now I’m really into rounded typefaces because they remind me of all things adorable.
What's an unpopular or obscure opinion that you'll never back down from?
Reese’s are nasty. I am literally the only person I know who thinks that. I just hate the taste of chocolate and peanut butter together.
